finally

Photo diary of how my friends and  I celebrated UST's neocentennial celebration and how my alma mater capped off her 400th year: eight-minute firework display and 'inuman session' in Tapsi.
Finally, one of the mandatory things I set myself to do before graduation was fulfilled: to go to Tapsi, or any 'pub' for that matter. To cross the Arch of the Century and play in the fountain will come next!

let's bring it back!

Photo diary of UST's Velada, which marks the ending of our 400th year celebration and also signals another beginning of centennial year. Way to go  UST. Velada by the way is english for an evening gathering.

currently into you

I'm not a sneaker-person, but I'm currently digging Korean fashion: sheer/cropped top, skirt, leather backpack and rubber shoes. I think it's cool that the sneakers dresses down the whole ensemble.

My own version: color blocking + sneakers:
Sheer top (bought out of whim!), bandage skirt and printed sneaks. Teehee.

rewarding

Friday the 13th, wasn't bad after all. We had an interview with Ms. Candice, one of Sen. Escudero's PR people in Trinoma. It was fun, rewarding, challenging and inspiring! It gave me reasons to look forward to my graduation. Yihee.
And I got to meet THE Dj Yap! *OMG* He's fashionista and still young!
In case you don't know, Mr. Yap is one of Philippine Daily Inquirer's reporter.
Prior to our 'fri-date' in Trinoma (we had dinner in Greenwich and snacks in Bigoli, just so you know), we interviewed PDI columnist, Ms. Joy. It was inspiring as well.
These assignments gave me the motivation to try my luck in the media world. Let's hope for the best! *wink*

Riding the Bandwagon (?)

"Imitation is the best form of flattery."

The upcoming movie, "Unofficially Yours" starring John Lloyd and Angel has lately been the talk of the town. I've seen the official trailer courtesy of YouTube, here: Unofficially Yours. I think it's cute and very relatable, I bet it will surely make a lot of money.
However, I can't help but think that the plot is similar to Hollywood movies "Friends With Benefits" and "No Strings Attached."
Plot: boy and girl, started off as friends, vowed not to fall in love, had casual sex, acted like couples, did not like labels but ended up falling in love.
But, since the movie has not yet premiered, let's give it the benefit of the doubt (?).

On the other news:
After the controversial slogan of the Dept. of Tourism (Pilipinas Kay Ganda), DOT released another tourism campaign ad: "It's More Fun in The Philippines." Yet again, the new tourism catchphrase received criticisms on why it was coincidentally similar to Switzerland's slogan back in 1951.
In DOT's defense, Secretary Ramon Jimenez tweeted: "This Switzerland coincidence only makes our line truer. Sun Tanning IS more fun in the Philippines."

random

If I end up jobless for a year after my graduation, I'll enter a law school.
I have to get fit before my graduation pictorial.
I vow to post as often as I can (no matter how nonsense they may be!)

I dragged my mother to Divi to see if they post-Christmas sale. They don't. But, their sheer tops were way cheaper than boutiques and department stores.

Blue green sheer top, 300; sleeveless p200, feather/leaf necklace 150.

Finally had the time to rummage through my closet to arrange my stuff, throw some unnecessary things and pile my accessories. #achievement
